Some impressive features designed for the
Dundee store include the following:
- Two grand staircases leading to the second floor restaurant,
with a park-like seating area for 250 people overlooking the mountain and
a view of the store below. The restaurant's menu will include wild game
and children's meals.
- Huge walk-through aquariums with a capacity of 60,000
gallons, stocked with trout, salmon and other Great Lakes area fish.
- A large auditorium and educational center available for
school groups, seminars, conferences and conventions.
- A shuttle service for travelers to and from area airports.
- A giant bronze sculpture similar in scope to the three-times-lifesize,
26-feet tall whitetail deer sculpture in Owatonna. Details about the sculpture,
will be available at a later date. Visitors also will see mounted trophies
of many game animals throughout the store.

designed to dazzle and educate shoppers about nature.

obtained trophy mounts.
- A gun library with a fine collection of examples of the
art of gun-making.
- Firearms Training System with interactive firearms and
lasers to allow customers to improve their skills or learn to shoot.
- A shooting gallery for youth, to teach them basic shooting
skills in a safe indoor environment.
- A live bait shop for anglers.
- Cabela's own travel service offering outdoor adventures
all over the world.
- A walking path through landscaped grounds featuring native
plants and trees, and a six-acre man-made lake.
- Interactive educational displays allowing visitors to
learn more about native fish and wildlife.
- Cabela's Bargain Cave with discontinued and sale merchandise.
- Service departments for firearms, archery equipment,
and fishing gear.
- A service bay to install boating, automotive and all-terrain
vehicle accessories purchased at the store.
- Parking for more than 1,500 automobiles, 100 semi-truck
and trailer rigs, 100 vehicles towing boats or trailers, and 30 buses.
In addition, there will be dog kennels and a horse corral so customers
can let their animals out to exercise while they are enjoying the store.
