Ida High School students are in the midst of a “penny war” to raise money to feed and buy presents for local needy families this holiday season. Collecting donations for the “Give a Kid a Christmas” project are: Jim Zatko, Melanie Nowak and Michelle Opfermann.
Construction continues on schedule at the new Dundee High School building, which is expected to be open for classes next fall.

Dundee Middle School yearbooks are for sale now. Cost is $15 in advance and will be $20 when the books arrive this spring, but there will be limited quantities, cautioned journalism teacher Mike Cole. He advises ordering books by the December 3 deadline. Money can be turned in to homeroom teachers.
