Summerfield High School’s Pep Club and School Improvement team collected new toys for Mott’s Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. The toys will be given to youngsters hospitalized over the holidays and also will be used in the hospital’s therapeutic programs for children all year long. Summerfield-Petersburg-Deerfield Lions Club hosted its annual holiday luncheon for senior citizens on Thursday, Dec. 12. The event was held in the parish hall at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, and was catered by Amy and Ron Cevora. Meals also were delivered to shut-ins. | |||||||||||

Dundee High School band members performed holiday music and marched in the “Home for the Holidays” parade in downtown Dundee on Saturday, Dec. 14. Prior to the start of the parade, there was Christmas caroling in the bandstand in Triangle Park. Some Dundee merchants also held prize raffle drawings for customers who visited their stores that evening. | |||||||||||
