Dundee fifth graders combined their talents to present a production of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens on Friday, Dec. 20 in the DMS gym. Dundee sixth graders conducted their eighth annual “Christmas Around the World” activity on Friday, Dec. 20. These students in Mrs. Busch’s class made a huge gingerbread house as part of the festivities in Germany.
The Rev. Marty Zimmann played Santa Claus for the Sonseekers’ Christmas party on Thursday, Dec. 19. The after-school group is similar to the summer Bible School, but meets weekly and is designed for children in grades 1-4.
Dundee morning kindergarten students sang several of their favorite Christmas songs for their family members and friends in a special concert on Thursday, Dec. 19 in the middle school gym. Afternoon kindergarten students performed their concert later in the day. Parents then visited classrooms.
Nicole, Erin and Alex browsed through the mechandise offered at the Dundee PTA’s annual Santa’s Secret Shop, set up in the Dundee Elementary all purpose room during the last few days before winter break.

Students in Mrs. Plumb’s second grade Dundee classroom exchanged books for Christmas this year. Each girl brought a book for a girl; and boys brought books for boys. They then sat in separate circles, and passed a wrapped book around the circle until some music stopped, and they unwrapped the book that they were holding when the music stopped.
Students in the Monroe County hearing impaired program at Ida, presented their annual sing-along on Friday, Dec. 20 in the Ida Elementary School all purpose room. There was a large slide show with the lyrics to Christmas songs.
