Lynsey Rank, Andrea Beaubien and Emily Schultz volunteered their time to tie tags to commemorative beer steins for the Old Mill Museum Association’s annual German Fest. The dinner and dance was held Saturday, March 8.

Dundee Community Schools held auditions for the school’s annual talent show on Thursday, March 6. Getting ready to audition was the band “AMFM” which includes drummer Dan Brown, Chris Edmonds, playing a 67 SG; and Duey Haddix on a Fender jazz bass. The punk group improvises and throws in some freestyle lyrics. As of Thursday, they had been a group for three days. The talent show will be March 28 at 7 p.m. at Dundee High School.

State Rep. Randy Richardville helped observe “Reading Month” by reading to Ida kindergarten students of Mrs. Brunt and Mrs. Locke. He read the classic “Cat in the Hat” and explained a little bit about government to the students.

Chris Ternes was surrounded by SMCC players, but managed to score 20 points for Dundee in the District final on Saturday, March 8. The Vikings won 51-42 and advanced to the Regionals.
