Ida pitcher Ashley Hughes demonstrated her skill during the Ida v. Custer game on Saturday, June 14. Ida hosted an All Star Tournament, involving teams from several Monroe County communities on Saturday afternoon, for both softball and baseball teams.
Dundee Car Show organizers Mike and Cindy Zeitz got married at the show, held at Cabela’s on Saturday, June 14. The car show is a fundraiser for an ISD fund for children. “Between us, we have six healthy kids and 17 grandkids,” said Cindy. “We felt we had to do something to help even one kid in need.”
A 1951 Cadillac Fleetwood, owned by Len Gallagher, was displayed with dolls which looked like Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson, at the fourth annual Dundee Car Show at Cabela’s on Saturday, June 14. Gallagher has owned the car for two years and had it completely restored. He travels to many car shows, all summer long. This is his first time at the Dundee Car Show.
