The Rev. Ruth McCully is retiring as the licensed local pastor at Lulu United Methodist Church on Sunday, June 29. A reception in her honor follows the 10 a.m. worship service. She is a Dundee resident and former Dundee elementary teacher. See story in our print edition.
Jesse Angerer and Justin Heisler took the non-metal parts off old student chairs in the Dundee High School cafeteria on Friday, June 20. The chairs will be recycled as part of the school renovation project this summer.

Cabela’s hosted a boat show over the weekend. The weather was perfect for the event on Saturday, June 21.

Mary Miller enjoyed a barbecue beef sandwich luncheon at the Dundee Senior Center on Friday, June 20. It was the center’s annual Strawberry Festival, with plenty of sweet treats offered for dessert. Serving up the food were Rose Sancrant, Terry Lindquist and Terry Shafer.

Gary Kinsey hauled out block as Moser Construction took out walls to expand the Dundee Elementary office on Friday, June 20. The elementary (grades K-4) and middle school (grades 5-8) will take over the entire K-12 building, as grades 9-12 move into the new high school building in the fall.
