Dundee Recreation Ball League held its end-of-season awards picnic on Monday, Aug. 4. All players received trophies. League champions for minior and major leagues received special T-shirts, and all-star teams received pins. The Blue Team, coached by Gene Slinker and Marty Campbell, won the girls minor league title, losing only one game all season.
Jaclyn, a proud T-Ball player, showed off the trophy she received for playing in the DRBL this summer. The awards picnic was held Monday, Aug. 4 at C. Rod Park.
Susan Spaulding and her daughter Shelby Spaulding of Dundee were busy with lambs at the Monroe County Fair, which ended Saturday, Aug. 2. The Spauldings are involved with the County Cavaliers 4-H group.
