Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputy J.J. Jennings led Gunnar, a trained German Shepherd, on a search through the hallways of Dundee High School on Friday, Feb. 20. Dep. Randy Sehl, school liaison officer, reported that the dog was alerted at a couple of lockers, but nothing was found. The dog is trained to find alcohol, tobacco, drugs and firearms. |

Dundee Elementary’s Student Government has begun its annual sale of Rainforest T-shirts and other items. Proceeds are used to purchase acres of rainforest through the Earth Foundation with the Nature Conservancy. Dundee High School’s wrestling team won its Division III District title at home on Thursday, Feb. 19. The next step on the road to the State Tournament is the Regional, set for Wednesday, Feb. 25 in Napoleon. |
