Dundee High School’s FFA program has opened its greenhouse to the public. Plants in hanging baskets, pots and flats are available for sale on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mindy and Marisa show off some of the colorful flowers. There are many varieties from which to choose.
Carly and Shayna enjoyed a game of Candyland with Foster Grandmother Gertrude Winter in Mrs. Leaper’s first grade Ida classroom on Thursday, May 6. This is Mrs. Winter’s 20th year with the program.

Letter carriers with the Dundee Post Office collected 2,310 pounds of food during their annual food drive on Saturday, May 8. Postal customers donated the non-perishable food items, which were taken to the Dundee Caring and Sharing food bank.
Billy Auten and Stephen Uhl of Dundee High School showed Billy’s steers to youngsters at the annual Ag Day at the Monroe County Fairgrounds on Friday, May 7. The steer will show at about 1,200 pounds, and was born in February. He eats about 30 pounds of grain each day and as much hay as he wants.
