Daniel of Dundee showed how to “camp lightly” by using a lightweight one-person tent at Scout-O-Rama on Saturday, May 15. The event was held at the Monroe County Fairgrounds.
Tyler, Matt, Brian and Jake are in the Scorpion Patrol of the Ida Boy Scouts. They were awarded second place overall the weekend before Scout-o-Rama, at a Pioneering Challenge in Tecumseh.

Dundee Elementary art teacher Carol Seeburger unboxed some ceramic pieces made by students. The art show will be in the all purpose room Thursday and Friday this week, May 20 and 21; and Tuesday through Thursday next week, May 25-27.
Dundee Brownies who are entering fourth grade next year “bridged” over to Junior Girl Scouts during a special ceremony on Thursday, May 13 in the Dundee Elementary all-purpose room. The girls were applauded by family members and friends for their achievements.
Noah led youngsters through a fun and lively “Simon Sez” activity at the Summerfield Elementary ACES program on Wednesday, May 12. The exercise program was held at the Summerfield football field, with the help of parent and student volunteers. See story in our print edition.
Jordan Lehr pitched for the Ida varsity baseball team on Saturday, May 15 during the Monroe County Tournament in a game against Milan. The batter got ready to attempt a bunt. Ida defeated Milan, and went on to play in the finals.
