Dundee Township Clerk Tira Lupu helped Diane Kirby register to vote on Monday, Oct. 4. That was the last day to register to vote for the general election. Mrs. Lupu said voter registrations are much increased over last year. The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 2.
Students in Mrs. Plumb’s second grade class unzipped their butterfly carrier, and let the insects go in the courtyard on Thursday, Sept. 30.
There were more than 75 walkers who raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Dundee on Wednesday, Sept. 29 during the Light the Night Walk. Walkers were given red lighted balloons to carry; cancer survivors carried white balloons. Many walked in honor of friends or loved ones.
